Q. I cannot connect my phone using Bluetooth device to your software though I am using the OPMAgent.sis to connect the phone. Nokia PC Suite sees the phone and works with it. What should I do to make your program work with my phone?
A. Please, check the following:
- the COM port's number, you choose in the Tools - Options - Connection&Common, is the one from 'Bluetooth configuration' -> 'Client applications' -> 'Bluetooth serial port' -> 'Properties' option. Please, don't set 'Bluetooth serial port' service from 'Local services' bookmark - this won't function;
- after you have set correct COM port's number, please, make sure, that you are not running any standard Bluetooth services, the phone should be disconnected;
- then run OPMAgent.SIS and choose 'Start BT exchange'. Please, do not start Bluetooth exchange, using phone's standard Bluetooth services. You should start Bluetooth connection only from OPMAgent.SIS utility. Phone's standard Bluetooth service may block the whole connection;
